WHAT TO EXPECT

Coming to a new church can sometimes be uneasy. But here at Shield of Faith Christian Center you can expect a warm welcome and lots of love. Making you feel comfortable and accepted is one of our priorities so that you can focus on hearing the word of God, encounter his presence and receive his power into your life.

Out music is exciting and energizing as well as God focused. God has blessed us with talented musicians who love Jesus and service his church through original music and fresh takes on familiar songs. We understand that charging the atmosphere with worship is a way to prepare your hearts to receive the word of God.  We encourage you to join in, clap your hands, sing along and worship the Lord with us.

No one one is left out when it comes to enjoying Sunday Services, whether it's our Early Morning Service at 9:30 or our Noon Worship Service at 11:00, you will be moved by dynamic, relevant preaching and teaching of the word of God.

What We Believe

The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God: written by the Holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

There is One God who is infinite in power, Holy in nature, attributes and purpose: omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. We believe that He was revealed to us: the Father in creation, the Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust in Him.

We believe in the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus.
We believe that He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today.

We believe in Water Baptism (by immersion) in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the Born Again Experience.
